What should I do now to prevent weeds this spring and summer?
Non-Turf areas
For those non-turf areas, early spring (Mar-May) can be a good time to apply some pre-emergent control to prevent weeds from germinating. A spring treatment is very important if no fall pre-emergent was done.
Industrial areas
Early spring is an excellent window of time for season long control of vegetation where bare ground is desired.
Roundup
Can be applied at any time that the plant is not in a dormant state and has a leaf.
